Point Hyllie

Growing up in Skåne (south of Sweden) the name Point Hyllie might sound a bit contradictive. Point, in this case, suggesting a high point in society or a geographical one. Now Hyllie is non of those. It is a quaint part of Skåne by the sea, soon welcoming train travellers from Copenhagen, Denmark to Sweden. It is also flat as a pancake, but that will soon change. By 2011 one of the buildings in the body of four, known as Point Hyllie, will reach up to a staggering 95 meters and hold 27 floors. Flats are already up for sale, the view will surely be spectacular, but how will it sit in the sourrounding landscape I wonder? It's an exciting project that I plan to follow but with a pinch of sentimental worry. http://annehem.se/
